Hello Everybody!
Coming up very soon is the first Cory Landrum Next Generation Tournament to be held at Steele Creek Lodge and Marina in Satsuma, Alabama. As many of you already know, this tournament will be the beginning of something new for the bass fishing committee in our area with the promotion of our next generation of fishers, as well as for, the next generation of citizens and leaders.
Our tournament, as well as, the scholarship fund is in the memory of our lost club member Cory Landrum, who was taken from us in a senseless act of violence. What started as just a memorial tournament in his honor has already grown into a yearly scholarship fund and educational programs have been put in place to educate our next generation in leadership, conservation, and education. There will be food (lots of food) donated from many organizations from the city, state, churches, local businesses and others. We hope that the public will come and support our effort in promoting or next generation.
